Scene 4

The shipping agent is in a town called Dalu



The agent is reluctant to give any information up but after some threats and a bribe he eventually gives up the name and location of a submarine captain who trades exclusively in the Southern Ocean.


Rubin then gets a taxi back to the airport where he plans to fly back to Garner and gather the rest of the crew, get some armour and weapons off the ship and then go to Fiddes, the port where the sub captain can be found.

Rubin is shot at by a lone gunman, luckily he still has his firearm and manages to wound the attacker, he is arrested but later released as witnesses confirm it was self defence but the gun is confiscated and he pays a fine for having an un-authorised firearm

Scene 3

The next step is to find out all they can about the research station, after several days of asking around nothing has been learned, then Rubin is contacted by a PI

He introduces himself as Harry Walgren, he has a lead if the price is right, fees are negotiated and a meeting is set up with a warship captain who has travelled the Southern Oceans extensively.

The meeting goes ahead but the Captain will not part with any usefull information, after the meeting Rubin and Harry are walking back to the rail station when they are confronted by some thugs



Failing to frighten them off with some tough talk a fight breaks out, Harry is badly hurt but Rubin manages to knock one assailant out and the other two run off.
A search gets a handgun and a business card for a shipping agent.Harry is taken the the local hospital.

Scene 2

The next step is to find out all about Chirpers so the crew go to the local University to find out what they can.



They find out that the Chirpers are planetwide and classed as semi-intelligent but not aggressive, a directive is in place to round them all up and settle them on Avios.

Scene 1

The crew decide to play it safe and contact local authorities to check legality of Research operation, they get reffered to various departments but eventually a sympathiser gets them  the info

Hilary Bent shows the crew a report that sanctions the research but it is classified information, the government allowed the building of the station in exchange for technological advancements, the nature of the stations work is rumoured to be Psionics - which is frowned upon within the Imperium.
